A group of open trades needs a shared view of risk and profit. Basket Manager monitors the selected positions together, adjusts the profit-protection level as the basket improves and requests closure when the configured exit condition is reached.

Select the positions to manage

Open the trades yourself and review the configured selection scope before enabling management. The EA manages the selected basket; it is not an entry-signal generator. Avoid running multiple managers on the same positions without checking their rules.

Money values versus price distance

The loss limit and profit rules describe money in the account’s currency. A dollar risk amount is not automatically the same as a gold-price distance. The price equivalent depends on volume, contract size and the broker’s symbol specification. Confirm the calculated line and basket value on demo before using it on a different broker.

Follow profit in stages

Set the loss threshold, initial profit lock and three trailing regions. As the basket reaches better profit levels, the protected exit level follows according to those parameters. When the basket returns to the protected level, the EA attempts to close the selected trades.

Use alongside News Intelligence

You can use a news scenario to inform your own entry decision, then use Basket Manager to follow the exit rules. It does not convert a scenario into a guaranteed result. Gaps, slippage and connection loss can affect the realised exit.

Keep management connected

Attach the released file to MetaTrader 5 desktop and enable the permissions needed to modify and close positions. Leave the terminal running while management is required. Review all selected trades and the status panel after any reconnection.
